The Thomas family lives right across the street from an orchard, which provided an excellent backdrop for photographing their family. It was my first shoot with my brand new 5D Mark II and 24-70mm lens, and both were a joy to use. Having two cameras with lenses ready allowed me to quickly switch between wide-angle and long zoom shots, which is always handy when there’s a two year old running around!
